Denbigh Ward is a purpose-built assessment unit for people with dementia. Thanks to Tesco 'Bags of Help' and Friends of Fulbourn Hospital and the Community funding, Grow Places worked with ward Occupational Therapists to offer planting design input and co-ordinate a volunteer group to plant the borders and assemble kinetic sculptures, all in readiness for a grand opening on 25th February 2018. 

Patients now have the choice of three safe and sense-stimulating gardens to venture out into and connect with nature. There are new raised beds for patients to garden themselves and wind-blown sculptures to entrance.
